Austin Chef Training & Hack Day

Looking for a chance to jump-start your Chef knowledge and get guided, hands-on training by Opscode Technical Evangelists? If you’re in Austin, this is your chance! Following on the success of the New York and Chicago Hack Days, Friday April 1st will be the first Austin Chef Training & Hack Day. We will be giving FREE hands-on Chef training, brought to you by GeekAustin and Opscode.

Opscode Technical Evangelists will be leading training and working with attendees to solve their specific issues. So bring your laptop and your questions and be ready to learn!

What:

Spend a Friday learning and hacking on Chef. This will be an informative hands on session that should have us all leaving with a real understanding of Chef.

We will have two distinct groups one for experts and one suitable for those who have never used Chef. So for you non developers – get in here too – even if you never use it again having more than a conceptual understanding of this critical layer in the DevOps stack will pay dividends.

Pizza will be provided as we start with an introduction and get things going.
