Hi. We're Opscode.
Opscode helps companies of all sizes develop fully automated server infrastructures: ones that scale easily and predictably, that can be quickly rebuilt in any environment, and that save developers and systems engineers both time and money.
We offer two products that, when working in tandem, make it easier than ever to build a fully automated infrastructure:
- Chef is a server configuration management tool that lets you express the design of your infrastructure in code, giving you the benefits of repeatability, agility, and version-control.
- The Opscode Platform is a centrally managed data store for information about your servers. It allows Chef to take dynamic, “infrastructure aware” actions across any portion of your environment.
